Beefeater Gin was named after the guards that protect the crown jewels at the Tower of London. It first went into production in 1876 and instantly became a hit. It is the only internationally recognized London Dry Gin still being distilled in the city.
Beefeater Dry Gin contains nine different botanicals which are steeped for 24 hours before distillation. The distilled spirit is then taken to Scotland where it is blended and bottled. It has aromas and flavors of juniper with an herbal spicy finish.
